Sporttho is fully remote, with writers and editors in six countries. We publish fewer pieces than most outlets and give each one more time, so the people who do well here are specialists who enjoy explaining things properly.

Football data writer
You will work alongside our chief football writer on weekly tactical analysis, turning event and tracking data into pieces a general reader can follow. We are looking for experience with football data, clear writing samples and a habit of checking your own numbers.
Video producer, Sporttho Film Room
You will script, edit and publish our video breakdowns with the writers who present them. We are looking for two or more years of editing experience in sport, strong motion-graphics skills and an eye for the clip that explains a point in ten seconds.
Sub-editor, weekends
You will be the final read on weekend copy across the six desks: accuracy, clarity, headlines and house style. We are looking for desk experience at a news or sports publication and a calm approach to deadlines.
Freelance contributors, all desks
We commission analysis from specialists with first-hand experience of the sport they cover. Send a short pitch, two samples and a line about your background.
